A journey from chronic pain to holistic healing

Hi, I'm Dr. Ki — a triple board-certified physician in internal medicine, rheumatology, and integrative medicine. I successfully overcame 15 years of chronic pain using a holistic approach. My friends call me a "modality collector" — I understand that everyone's journey is unique and special.

Living with chronic pain is not enjoyable, and it can also be costly. It not only impacts your health but also has negative effects on your relationships and career. After trying various treatment modalities, I discovered that there is no one magic pill or approach.

I'm also trained in osteopathic medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, and meditation, and I am a dedicated student of yoga with 800+ hours of personal practice. Through my integrative medicine fellowship and learning from the world's best physicians, psychologists, and healers, I've helped many patients with autoimmune conditions rediscover the vibrancy of life.

I am currently preparing to launch my own integrative rheumatology practice in Summer 2027, with telemedicine capability to serve patients across multiple states. My goal is to help you find what can be most beneficial at your specific stage of life and healing.

My Healing Philosophy

True healing addresses every dimension of your being. Where there is flow, there is health. Where there is blockage, there is disease. My three pillars restore flow at every level.

Pillar 1

Physical Alignment

Structural health is foundational. When the body's fascia, spine, and joints are aligned, blood flow, nerve signaling, and lymphatic drainage all improve — directly supporting immune function.

Acupuncture

Releases fascial restriction, reduces inflammation, and restores energy flow through targeted needle placement.

Osteopathic Manipulative Technique (OMT)

Counterstrain and suboccipital release techniques to free the nervous system and restore structural balance.

Yoga

Moving meditation that engages the full fascial web, improves alignment, and trains the nervous system to feel safe.

Tai Chi

Gentle, flowing movement that improves balance, lymphatic flow, and heart rate variability — ideal for all ages.

Pillar 2

Nutritional Alignment

Food is medicine. An anti-inflammatory diet reduces the immune system's burden, supports gut health, and provides the raw materials your body needs to heal and repair.

Anti-Inflammatory Diet

70% plant-rich plate with phytochemicals that cool inflammation. Emphasis on fatty fish, extra-virgin olive oil, and whole foods.

Refined Sugar Elimination

Removing processed sugars and ultra-processed foods to reduce immune dysregulation and pain.

Hydration Protocol

60–80 oz of clean water daily to keep fascia supple, support lymphatic flow, and maintain cellular function.

Personalized Nutrition

Tailored dietary strategies based on your unique condition, lifestyle, and healing stage.

Pillar 3

Emotional Alignment

The nervous system is the master regulator of immune function. Unprocessed emotional stress keeps the body in fight-or-flight, fueling chronic inflammation. Emotional healing is not extra — it is foundational.

Meditation

Trains the brain to create space between trigger and reaction. Improves heart rate variability (HRV) and shifts the nervous system toward healing mode.

Spirituality

Connecting to something greater than yourself — whether through prayer, nature, or gratitude — helps discharge stored emotional trauma from the fascia and nervous system.

Yoga & Tai Chi as Moving Meditation

These practices are not just exercise. They help you let go of guarding patterns, flush stuck emotional energy, and give your body permission to feel safe again.

Breathing Techniques

Diaphragmatic breathing restores HRV, moves lymph fluid, and activates the vagus nerve — the body's natural relaxation pathway.

"In Traditional Chinese Medicine, there is a simple idea I love: Where there is flow, there is health. Where there is blockage, there is disease. My goal is to help you restore flow — physically, nutritionally, and emotionally."
